It occupies a strategic position around the Rocher de Dzaoudzi, a rocky outcrop beside the lagoon, and serves as an important arrival point for visitors using the island’s airport and ferry connections. The town combines a compact urban setting with access to beaches, volcanic landscapes, and the waters of the surrounding lagoon.

Fogo Island is a large offshore island in Newfoundland and Labrador, set in the North Atlantic and reached by ferry from Farewell on Newfoundland’s northeast coast. Its landscape is defined by rocky headlands, small coves, rolling hills, exposed coastal trails, and scattered fishing communities. Eleven communities occupy the island, including Fogo, Joe Batt’s Arm, and Tilting, each with its own character and relationship to the sea.

Grace Bay is a coastal district on the northeast shore of Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands, centered on the long shoreline of Grace Bay Beach. The area combines white sand, shallow turquoise water, low coastal vegetation, and the sheltered marine environment of Princess Alexandra National Park. Behind the beach are hotels, restaurants, shops, villas, and other visitor services, making Grace Bay the main tourism district on Providenciales.
