Bolivia's third largest city, it lies high in the valley of Cordillera Oriental. It is an agricultural hub of the country, especially for grains. Founded in 1574 by a conquistador, it is the home of an excellent archeological museum.

Shimla is the capital of Himachal Pradesh, set along a steep Himalayan ridge surrounded by cedar and pine forests. Its hillside streets, mountain views, and dense collection of colonial-era buildings give the city a distinctive character, while The Ridge and Mall Road form the main pedestrian and civic areas. Shimla also developed as a major hill station during British rule and later became the state capital.

Broken Hill is a mining town which is also very popular amongst Australian artists. The town is known as ‘Silver City’ and still mines for Silver, lead and zinc today. However there is only one mine that is still open today. When you get here be prepared to change your watches.

Jeffreys Bay is a coastal town in South Africa’s Eastern Cape province, situated along the Indian Ocean about 75 kilometres west of Gqeberha.

Situated on the north coast of the Snæfellsnes peninsula between a mountain range and the sea is the small town of Grundarfjordur, Iceland. Though certainly now the most well-known town on the peninsula, its nearby mountain Kirkjufell ("church mountain" in Icelandic) is perhaps Iceland's most famous.
