Just outside of Tucson lies Saguaro National Park, which is home to hundreds of saguaro cacti, the iconic symbol of the old West. There are endless scenic hikes and wildlife habitats, and the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum isn't to be missed. The star of the park, of course, are the cacti themselves, and there are few more beautiful sights than seeing them silhouetted against the beauty of a magnificent desert sunset.

Alberobello in southern Italy’s Puglia region captures the imagination with its distinctive trulli houses. These structures were built using a dry-stone technique passed down over centuries, without mortar or cement, and their unique form comes from layer upon layer of limestone nestled from nearby fields. Alberobello’s trulli are so remarkable that in 1996 the historic center was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where more than 1,600 of these buildings still stand.

Woodstock is a historic market town in Oxfordshire, located beside the grounds of Blenheim Palace and surrounded by the countryside of the Cotswolds. Burundi, a small country tucked along the shores of Lake Tanganyika, offers travelers a deeply authentic experience that few destinations can match.
