Tampere is the third largest city in Finland with a population of 182,000. Tampere is also the heart of the Tampere Region which has a dynamic population of about 430,000. In the last few years the city's population has grown rapidly. Tampere is located 110 miles north of Helsinki, the capital.

A popular cruise line port, Portoferraio is a spectacular spot on the Italian coast and principal town of Elba Island.

Kalbarri is a coastal town, set alongside the Murchison River. The coastline around Kalbarri is wonderful and has quite a history, with several shipwrecks along the shore. There is a fabulous cycle path along the coastline and coastal clifftops, including Eagle Gorge, Natural Bridge, Pot Alley, Rainbow Valley and Red Bluff. There is also fantastic surf at Jakes Corner.

Although its great days are past, its palaces and castles deserted, gondar is one of Ethiopia's most fascinating cities and one of the world's most mysterious. The city stands at the foot of the Simien mountains and is set in a landscape of incomparable beauty. Gondar is the former 17th century capital of Ethiopia, although some say it was Saudi Arabia.

Sukhothai, located in north-central Thailand, was once the capital of the first independent Thai kingdom in the 13th century. Today, it’s best known for the Sukhothai Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with stone temples, lotus-filled moats, and ancient Buddha statues. The park spans over 70 square kilometers and features more than 190 ruins.
