Newport
About halfway down the Oregon coast, the picturesque Yaquina Head Lighthouse welcomes you to Newport, a town known for its Dungeness crab and glorious harbor under the graceful Yaquina Bay Bridge. The historic Bayfront offers a mixture of shops, galleries, canneries and restaurants that serve fresh clam chowder, shrimp, oysters, crab and salmon.
Hubbard Glacier
A moving sight...literally. Hubbard Glacier's recent nickname "the galloping glacier" refers to its rapid movement through Disenchantment Bay in the direction of the Gulf of Alaska. This tidewater glacier is a natural wonder over 6 miles wide! Those on ships are usually able to get within about a half mile of Hubbard Glacier's face.
South Korea
South Korea in located in the part of northeastern Asia that occupies the southern portion of the Korean Peninsula. The government to encourage the preservation of the traditional arts through several museums: the National Museum (1908), located in Seoul, with its collection of Korean cultural and folklore relics; and branches of the national museums, located in six other major cities.
