Of This Earth is an exhibition celebrating contemporary ceramics by First Nations artists from across Australia. It features over thirty key works by twenty-eight Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, highlighting cultural continuity and artistic innovation. The exhibition explores themes of Culture, Country, Community, Ceremony, Ancestors, everyday life, and imagination through diverse ceramic techniques.

Captured is a photography exhibition from the Cairns Art Gallery Collection focusing on images that capture the people and places of the region. The exhibition features works by various artists from different cultures and periods, exploring themes of identity, belonging, and social and cultural history. Notable photographers include Charles Page, William Yang, Kerry Trapnell, Simone Arnol, and Naomi Hobson, whose works document significant cultural narratives and local customs.

Ron McBurnie's Artist Studio series consists of twenty-six etchings created between 1993 and 2003. The etchings document collaborative interactions between McBurnie and other artists, capturing them at work in their studios. The exhibition includes eight etchings gifted to the Cairns Art Gallery in 2006, alongside works by the artists featured in the series.
