Kakum National Park is a protected rainforest area in southern Ghana, located near Cape Coast in the Central Region. The park covers a large area of tropical forest with tall trees, dense undergrowth, streams, and shaded paths. It is part of the Upper Guinea Forest ecosystem, one of West Africa’s important remaining rainforest zones. Kakum is particularly known for its canopy walkway, which allows visitors to experience the forest from above the ground.
Lewa Wildlife Conservancy lies in northern Kenya at the foothills of Mount Kenya, where open savannah, wooded hills, and seasonal rivers create a varied and striking landscape.
Peggy's Cove is a small coastal community on the eastern shore of St. Margarets Bay in Nova Scotia, known for its granite shoreline, working harbour, and distinctive lighthouse. Large exposed rocks surround the village, shaped by glaciers and Atlantic weather, while spruce and fir forests cover the inland areas.
