Cusco once served as the heart of the Inca Empire, and that legacy still shapes every corner of the city even as it serves as a gateway to Machu Picchu. Outside the historic center, the ruins of Sacsayhuamán overlook the city from a nearby hilltop. This ceremonial complex is best known for its massive zigzag stone walls, some weighing over 100 tons. During the Inti Raymi festival in June, thousands gather here to reenact ancient Andean rituals.

The quaint village of St. Paul De Vence is situated on top of a hill overlooking the beautiful countryside. This medieval, walled town offers historic buildings, hidden alleyways, museums and many specialty shops.

Maipo is a rural area south of Santiago in Chile's Metropolitan Region, centered on the Maipo River and the agricultural communities of the Maipo Valley. The landscape combines vineyards, orchards, farmland, and foothills that rise toward the Andes. The area is particularly associated with wine production, especially Cabernet Sauvignon and other red varieties grown in the valley's warm, dry climate.

Rauma is a historic coastal town in western Finland, located on the Gulf of Bothnia and known for its well-preserved wooden Old Rauma district. Narrow lanes, colorful timber houses, small courtyards, and irregular street patterns give the historic center a distinctive appearance. Dawes Glacier is a tidewater glacier in Endicott Arm, a deep fjord branching from the waters of southeastern Alaska’s Tracy Arm-Fords Terror Wilderness. The glacier descends from the Coast Mountains toward the head of the fjord, where ice meets seawater at a broad calving face. Towering mountains, steep cliffs, waterfalls, and dense coastal forest surround the fjord, creating a dramatic setting that is best experienced from the water.
