Sequoia National Park
Sequoia National Park, located in California’s Sierra Nevada mountains, is a natural wonderland famous for its giant sequoia trees, including the world-renowned General Sherman Tree. Standing at an astonishing 275 feet tall, the General Sherman is the largest tree on Earth by volume and a must-see for visitors.
Grand Bahama Island
One of the most beautiful islands in the Bahamas, Grand Bahama Island is home to the renowned capitol city of Freeport/Lucaya. Grand Bahama Island offers lovely beaches, three national parks, a variety of natural wonders including an extensive system of underwater caves, and a vast array of marine life. Namche
Namche Bazaar, perched at 3,440 meters in the Khumbu region of Nepal, is often called the gateway to Everest, but it’s far more than a rest stop on the way to Base Camp. Once a trading post between Tibetan and Nepali merchants, Namche has developed into a small mountain town where yak caravans and Wi-Fi cafes exist side by side. Despite its remote location, it has a Saturday market that continues to bring traders and trekkers together, just as it did centuries ago.
Floreana Island
Located off the coast of Ecuador, Floreana Island is one of the Galápagos Islands and a popular stop for gazing at a variety of wildlife, including Galápagos tortoises and flamingoes. Post Office Bay is home to the island chain's first post office site, originally established by visiting whalers in the 18th century. Though one of the smallest islands in the Galápagos, Floreana is well worth the trip!
Amboise
Amboise has 12,000 inhabitants and is in the heart of Touraine, in the land of chateaux. It is a town both traditional and modern, lively and quiet. In Amboise, there is a royal castle set above the Loire Valley and is a strong point extensively embellished during the 15th and 16th centuries.
