Göreme
Göreme is a small town in Türkiye's Cappadocia region, surrounded by a landscape of volcanic rock formations, valleys, and distinctive fairy chimneys. The soft tuff rock was shaped by erosion into pillars, cliffs, and sheltered valleys, while people carved homes, churches, storage rooms, and other spaces directly into the rock.

Ninh Binh

At Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, boat routes pass through caves, ancient pagodas, and valleys surrounded by towering cliffs. Local rowers often use their feet to paddle, an unusual technique that surprises many first-time visitors.
Toledo
Toledo, seat of Lucas County, northwestern Ohio, a port on the Maumee River, at its mouth on Lake Erie; incorporated 1837. The city's extensive transportation facilities include its fine natural harbor, which is a port on the Great Lakes-Saint Lawrence Seaway and ranks among the world's leading soft-coal-shipping ports; an extensive network of railroads; and an air cargo terminal.
