Although not accessible by road, it is Peru's most important commerical center in the east. It is on the Amazon which is wide enough to allow freighters at their busy port. The 1880's saw the rubber boom and recently oil has been the boom.

Negril, Jamaica, offers an idyllic escape with its renowned Seven Mile Beach, a stretch of golden sand that is consistently ranked among the world's top beaches. Tonto National Forest covers a large area of central Arizona, stretching across desert lowlands, rugged mountains, pine forests, and river corridors north and east of the Phoenix metropolitan area. Its varied elevation creates several distinct landscapes within one forest, from saguaro-filled Sonoran Desert to ponderosa pine country around the Mogollon Rim.

Baucau is Timor-Leste's second-largest city, located on the country's north coast on a plateau above the Ombai Strait. The city is surrounded by limestone hills, agricultural land, and tropical vegetation, with a cooler climate than the low-lying coastal plain below. Baucau is divided broadly into the older Vila Nova area and the historic Vila Velha, where colonial-era buildings, churches, and public spaces remain.

Broken Hill is a mining town which is also very popular amongst Australian artists. The town is known as ‘Silver City’ and still mines for Silver, lead and zinc today. However there is only one mine that is still open today. When you get here be prepared to change your watches.
