Dakhla is a coastal city in Morocco’s far southwest, situated on a narrow peninsula that extends into a large Atlantic lagoon. Its setting creates a striking contrast between the dry desert landscape inland and the sheltered blue waters along the coast. Dakhla is an important regional centre for fishing, commerce, and transport, while its lagoon has made the city increasingly known for water sports.
Ascension island, British dependency of St. Helena, in the South Atlantic Ocean, about midway between Africa and South America and 700 miles northwest of St. Helena. The small, volcanic island was sighted by the Portuguese in 1501, but it was uninhabited until the exile of Napoleon to St. Helena in 1815.
Baucau is Timor-Leste's second-largest city, located on the country's north coast on a plateau above the Ombai Strait. The city is surrounded by limestone hills, agricultural land, and tropical vegetation, with a cooler climate than the low-lying coastal plain below. Baucau is divided broadly into the older Vila Nova area and the historic Vila Velha, where colonial-era buildings, churches, and public spaces remain.
Matanuska Glacier is one of Alaska’s largest road-accessible glaciers, flowing through the Matanuska Valley northeast of Anchorage. The glacier stretches for roughly 27 miles and descends from the Chugach Mountains toward the valley floor, where its broad ice surface is bordered by steep mountain slopes and rocky terrain. The Glenn Highway follows the Matanuska River valley and provides access to viewpoints and guided glacier tours.

Ojai (pronounced "Oh hi") is an Indian name generally accepted as meaning "the nest," although experts also interpret it as "moon." The valley was home to the Chumash who ascribed the east-west lying valley with mystical powers and found sanctuary in its canyons and mountains.
Ojai is an inspiring retreat with a surprising blend of cosmopolitan style and small town charm. Home to an eclectic mix of writers, artists and philosophers, it also hosts a nationally acclaimed tennis tournament and a music festival of international renown.
There are many, residents and visitors alike, who savor the Ojai Valley as an earthly paradise - a real-live Shangri-La - with its magnificent mountain landscapes, its perfect climate and its peaceful, friendly lifestyle.
