Siyazan is a small city and district in northern Azerbaijan, located along the Caspian Sea north of Baku. The area combines a dry semi-desert landscape with coastal plains, low mountains, sparse woodland, and the Gilgilchay and Atachay rivers. Its setting makes Siyazan a useful base for exploring several natural and archaeological sites in the surrounding region.

The third largest city in Turkey, a cosmopolitan and lively city all year round, during the International Arts Festival (June/July) and the international Fair (August/September), Izmir bursts with an added vibrancy.

The Gili Islands are a group of three small islands off the northwest coast of Lombok in West Nusa Tenggara: Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air. Each island has a distinct character, but all are surrounded by clear tropical waters, coral reefs, and sandy beaches. Gili Trawangan is the largest and most developed, Gili Meno is quieter and less populated, while Gili Air combines tourism with a resident island community.

Dampier Peninsula is situated along the north east coast of western Australia within the famous Kimberley. Around half of the Peninsula is covered by Aboriginal land, and so you should check with the Tourist Information Centre in Broome about the areas where you may not be permitted.
