El Chaltén sits at the edge of Los Glaciares National Park in Argentina’s Patagonia region, framed by the iconic peaks of Cerro Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. Its remote location beside the Río de las Vueltas makes it a gateway to dramatic landscapes of granite spires, glacial streams and wide steppe plains.

Limasawa is a small island municipality in Southern Leyte, Philippines, located at the southern end of Leyte Gulf. Its landscape is defined by forested hills, rocky and sandy shorelines, clear coastal waters, and small agricultural areas. The island is made up of several barangays, with Limasawa town serving as the local administrative center.

Two thousand years have left their mark in Bonn, tracing its development from a Roman camp into the settlement known as "Villa Basilica," and on through the Baroque era's Electoral Palace, which today houses the University.

Through the city is a big boulevard with the municipal theatre at the north end and the city hall at the south end. The theatre was built in the 19:th century and is a very beautiful building. The city hall was built in the 18th century in a late Gustavian design.

Bartolomé Island, one of the most iconic destinations in the Galápagos archipelago, is known for its dramatic volcanic landscape and the postcard-perfect view from its summit. Just off the east coast of Santiago Island, this uninhabited islet draws visitors for its unique terrain with lava flows, spatter cones, and a rust-colored cinder cone that rises sharply above the sea.
