A tributary of the Amazon, the Napo River (Río Napo) originates in the east Andes mountains. It flows east through Ecuador, then southeast into Peru, where it joins the larger river roughly 50 miles downstream from Iquitos.

The biggest volcano in Europe - and still very active. Drive up to the 6,000 foot level, travel along roads that run over layers of hardened lava, created in ancient and modern times. Enjoy the magnificent view of the Tyrrhenian and lonian coasts.
Lagos sits on the southern edge of Portugal’s Algarve where a lively old port town meets wide Atlantic skies. Just a short stroll from the heart of town, the coast drops away into a spectacle at Ponta da Piedade, where golden sandstone cliffs rise out of the Atlantic and have been shaped into stacks, natural arches and grottoes over millennia. At the top, the Ponta da Piedade Lighthouse watches over this dramatic shoreline and offers a great backdrop for photos as the sun sets into the ocean.
Bright is situated in the Ovens Valley and offers beautiful scenery and landscape. There are many ski resorts surround Bright, with Mt Buffalo National Park being the closest. This is obviously one attraction to the area, although Bright offers various activities all year around.
There are a whole host of walking trails around Bright which are great for bush walkers and cyclists. There are often fabulous lookouts alontg the way, giving spectacular views of the surrounding area. If you want to look at the area from a different view, then hold on tight to one of the popular hang gliders.
