Tampico, located on the Gulf Coast of Tamaulipas, is a port city with a layered history shaped by trade, oil, and immigration. Its downtown district is known for neoclassical buildings, many of which were constructed with imported bricks and ironwork from Europe during the oil boom of the early 20th century. One of Tampico’s most photographed structures is the Mercado Municipal, rebuilt in recent years but still functioning as a central hub for daily life.

Located on the Rhône River, Avignon is the city to which the Popes fled when leaving the corruption of Rome in the 14th century. The palace they built, 'Le Palais des Papes,' is a breathtaking must see.

Prizren, nestled in the picturesque valley of the Sharr Mountains in Kosovo, is a city where history and culture converge in a remarkably scenic setting. Known for its well-preserved Ottoman architecture, Prizren offers a rich tapestry of historical sites, including the iconic Sinan Pasha Mosque and the ancient Kaljaja Fortress, which overlooks the city from its commanding hilltop.

Karpathos is marked by the peculiar Karpathian houses, built of carved stone, full of embroidery and characteristic interior decorations. From Pigadia you may visit Kyra Panagia, a picturesque bay with a marvelous beach and a monastery of the same name. A little further, on the northern promontory of Karpathos, lies the Diafani village; on the nearby little island of Saria we see Palatia, with ruins of the ancient city of Nisyros.

Aalborg is the fourth largest city in Denmark and constitutes a natural center for the North Jutland region. In addition Aalborg is Denmark's largest conference center, outside Copenhagen. Aalborg has many cultural attractions which appeal to a wide variety of tastes; a varied night-life and more than 300 restaurants, bars and clubs.
